This initiative aims to facilitate easier and faster access to medical services in India for Bangladeshi patients.Indian healthcare professionals have expressed support for this initiative, highlighting the importance of extending comprehensive benefits to Bangladeshi patients.
Dr Arindam Biswas, a prominent Indian doctor, emphasised the need for the Indian government to ensure that these patients receive high-quality treatment at affordable costs. He believes that this move could enhance the medical tourism sector and strengthen the healthcare ties between the two neighboring countries.
