India to get US $ 3 lakh as champions of Asia Cup

India and Pakistan faced each other in the high-voltage final of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday night.

India emerged the champions in the Asia Cup defeating Pakistan by five wickets in a thrilling final match. Champions India will get US $ three lakh as prize-money.

That means they will be given Taka three core and 64 lakh. Pakistan, the runners-up of the Asia Cup, the most prestigious cricket competition of Asia Continent, will get US $ 1.5 lakh as prize-money.

That means they will be given Taka one crore and eighty two lakh. Tilak Varma of India was adjudged the Player of the Final, while his teammate Abhishek Sharma was adjudged the Man of the Tournament.

Bangladesh, which team finished third will be given Taka 60 lakh as prize-money, while Sri Lanka, which team became fourth will get Taka 40 lakh as prize-money.

It may be mentioned that the prize-money of this Asia Cup has increased than previous Asia Cup.
