The T20 World Cup winners, Team India are stranded in the Caribbean due to the arrival of Hurricane Beryl, which has intensified to an “extremely dangerous Category 4”.
The contingent including players, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) members and families are now stuck in the team hotel who were scheduled to leave Barbados on Sunday.
According to various reports, India were set to leave via a charter flight on Sunday (June 30), but the airport in Barbados was shut in anticipation of the tropical storm.
