India Cricket team will arrive in the city on August 13 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Bangladesh Cricket team.
Bangladesh will take on India in the first ODI match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the capital’s Mirpur on August 17. Bangladesh will face India in the second ODI match at the same venue on August 20.
Then, Bangladesh Cricket team and India Cricket team will go to Chattogram, The port city of the country. The Tigers will play against India in third and last ODI at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on August 23.
After the three-match ODI series, Bangladesh will meet India in the first T20I at the same venue on August 26.
After playing the first T20I, Bangladesh Cricket team and India Cricket team will return to Dhaka to play rest of the T20I matches.
Bangladesh will face India in the second T20I match at the SBNCS on August 29. Bangladesh will meet India in the third T20I match at the same venue on August 31.
India Cricket team will depart Dhaka for India on September 1.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said, “This series promises to be one of the most exciting and most anticipated events in our home calendar. India have set the benchmark in international cricket across all formats and the cricket-loving millions in both countries are sure to enjoy this contest. Bangladesh and India have played some very competitive matches in recent years, and I am confident that this will be another hard-fought and entertaining series.”
