Finals of both the Men’s and Women’s Independence Day Handball competitions will be held today at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city, said a press release.
On the day, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP will take on Bangladesh Police Handball Club in the Women’s Section final at 2:30pm, while Border Guard Bangladesh will meet Bangladesh Ansar and VDP in the Men’s Section final at 4.00pm.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP defeated Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 35-19 goals, Border Guard Bangladesh outclassed Team Handball Dhaka by 36-13 goals and Bangladesh Police Handball Club overpowered Faruk Tomal Sports Academy by 29-12 goals in the day’s Men’s Section matches were held on Sunday.
While Bangladesh Police Handball Club beat Viqarunnisa Noon Sports Academy by 32-20 goals in the day’s lone Women’s section match.
