The Independence Cup Kick Boxing Tournament starts today (Thursday) at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
Bangladesh Kick Boxing Federation will arrange the kick boxing meet.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Kick Boxing Federation KU Aksi will formally open the boxing tournament as the chief guest.
A total of 60 boys and 20 girls from 17 districts will compete in the boxing competition.
The tournament will be held in 12 categories. Of them, eight categories are for boys, three categories are for girls and one category is musical category.
The winner of each category will be awarded gold medal.
Bangladesh Kick Boxing Federation was formed in 1999. After that the federation arranged 14 tournaments. The federation will organize the 15th competition through this meet.
