‘Incomplete pry edu to create unskilled population’

Emphasising the need to enhance the equality of primary education, Primary and Mass Education Advisor Prof. Dr. Bidhan Ranjon Roy Poddar on Saturday said that, failure in completing primary education will lead to the creation of an unskilled population.

We must play our due role in improving the quality of primary education, Advisor said urging all concerned to raise education standards for the betterment of the nation.

Primary and Mass Education Adviser Prof. dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar also said, School feeding programme (SFP) will resume in government primary schools of the country from next month.

He made the remarks while exchanging views with primary headmaster, and field -level officers at local Shilpokola academy auditorium as the chief guest.

Secretary to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Abu Taher Md. Masud Rana and Director General (DG) of Primary Education Abu Nur Md Shamsuzzaman as special guests.

It was addressed among others by Additional SP (Admin) Mukit Sarkar, District Primary Education Officer (DPO) Mujib Alam.

Primary and Mass Education Secretary Abu Taher Md. Masud Rana said that, education is not just about text book knowledge, but it is also an area of forming values, ethics and leadership.

He said, the procurement process of the SFP has already started and training of those who will implement it is also underway.
