Imran urges Malaysia to take skilled manpower

Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed today urged Malaysia to take more skilled manpower from Bangladesh as the government is providing special focus on creating skilled labour force.
“Bangladeshi labour has been playing a vital role for long in the economic development of Malaysia. Malaysia can take more skilled manpower from Bangladesh,” he said while meeting with a delegation of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI), led by its president Syed Moazzam Hossain, at his ministry in the city.
Imran Ahmed thanked the BMCCI President for selecting the topic “Challenges and Opportunities of Skilled Human Resource for Overseas Employment from Bangladesh” in one of the sessions of the seminar in ‘Showcase Bangladesh – Go Global’, held on July 11, 2019 at Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Moazzam Hossain thanked the minister for participating in the ‘4th Showcase Bangladesh Go Global’ which is a flagship event of BMCCI.
Among others, Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Secretary Rownaq Jahan, Director General of the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training Md Selim Reza, BMCCI Directors Md Anwar Shahid, Dato’ Goonahlam Subramanian, Jamilur Rahman, Member Mahbub Alam Shah and President of BAIRA Benjir Ahmed and Secretary General of BAIRA Shameem Ahmed Chowdhury Noman were present at the meeting.
