Hina Khan, the popular face of Indian television, bravely revealed her breast cancer a year ago. After overcoming that difficult battle, she has returned to the screen.
However, she claims that many in the industry are still hesitant to work with her.
In an interview with Indian media, Hina said, “No one has directly said that I am not completely healthy, but I understand that people are hesitant. I also think it is reasonable.”
Her illness has put her career on hold, leading to a number of job offers being missed.
But now she is back on the small screen with Colors’ reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’, which she describes as her first project after her successful battle with cancer.
In Hina’s words, “Participating in this show was a big decision for me. It was a test of my physical ability – whether I can do it at all. So far, everything is going well.
I get a little tired, but I am ready. Whether it is digital media or something else, I want to work. But for now, I don’t want to be involved in any long-term project.”
He added, “No one has called me for the past year-for whatever reason, but I haven’t stopped. I’m ready for the audition now, please call me.”
Hina has won the hearts of the audience with her acting and personality in popular shows like ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’ and ‘Bigg Boss 11’. The 37-year-old actress is currently participating in the reality show, where she is accompanied by her boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal.
