I’m Ashamed of Three Films’: Anjan Dutt Speaks Frankly at 72

I have been very selective about the work I chose. I tried hard not to do cheap songs or anything of low taste. Even today, I feel embarrassed and ashamed about three films; it is difficult for me to acknowledge them as my own. I have avoided politics, controversy, quarrels, foolishness, and mediocrity-no matter how purple the times may have been. I am 72 years old. My sense of humor is the only support that has kept me alive. Anjan Dutt
