International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) authorities have announced that 50 talented Palestinian students will be given the opportunity to study at the university free of tuition fees.
Former parliament member and chairman of IIUC board of trustees, Prof Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi has taken this decision.
This decision was taken at the request of the ambassador following the discussion during the courtesy meeting.On April 24, IIUC’s International Affairs Committee meeting recommended that 50 talented Palestinian students be given free study opportunities through scholarships.
Later on May 3, IIUC Board of Trustees Chairman Professor Dr Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin in the 11th meeting of the Board of Trustees held under the chairmanship of Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi, oppressed Palestinian students are being given the opportunity to study at universities in Muslim countries around the world. International Islamic University of Bangladesh Chittagong has taken this step in that continuation, an IIUC sources said.
