IFIC Bank organized a special workshop on financial literacy in Sylhet under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank, as part of the “Festival of Youth 2025.”
The workshop was held on Tuesday, 2025, in collaboration with Sylhet Government Women’s College, at the college’s auditorium, according to a press release.
The event was chaired by the Principal of Sylhet Government Women’s College, Professor Bhubanjoy Acharjee.
The Chief Guest was Mr. Khaled Ahmed, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank’s Sylhet Office.Special guests included Mr. Shamsul Islam, Vice-Principal of Sylhet Government Women’s College, and Mr. Khandakar Anwar Ehtesham, Head of Branding, Communications & Corporate Affairs at IFIC Bank.
The workshop, attended by over 200 students, featured Ms. Fariha Haider, Head of Centralized Retail Marketing at IFIC Bank, as the resource person.
She provided detailed insights on enhancing professional skills, managing personal finances effectively, and tackling the technological challenges of the future, the release adds.
