The air in the Indian capital Delhi is becoming increasingly toxic day by day. The level of air pollution has reached such a terrible level that Bollywood actress Kriti
Sanon has expressed deep concern about it.
At the press conference of her upcoming film ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, the actress expressed her concerns about the environment of her city as well as the film.
At a recent press conference in Delhi, Kriti Sanon said that Delhi’s air quality or ‘Air Quality Index’ (AQI) has crossed 430, which is very risky for public health. This situation has made her very worried.
Speaking to the media present at the press conference, Kriti said, “If proper measures are not taken in time, the situation will become more dire. It is the responsibility of all of us to look into this matter. The time has come to look into this serious matter. If effective steps are not taken now, this situation will become more and more complicated in the future.”
In recent times, the shooting of several films in Delhi has been cancelled or postponed due to the pollution and security situation. It is worth noting that the shooting of Kriti’s film ‘Cocktail 2’ with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna was also postponed due to the high pollution in Delhi and the recent blast scare.
On the work front, Kriti will be next seen in Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishq Mein, which stars South star Dhanush.
The director has said that the film is a spiritual sequel to his popular film ‘Raanjhanaa’.
The film will be released in both Hindi and Tamil.
