IDLC promotes new AMD, 2 new DMDs

IDLC Finance PLC recently promoted Syed Javed Noor to additional managing director (AMD) and Mir Tariquzzaman and Mesbah Uddin Ahmed to deputy managing director (DMD).
These promotions were confirmed at the 343rd Board Meeting of IDLC Finance PLC held on Thursday.
Syed Javed Noor, previously serving as deputy managing director, has been with IDLC Finance PLC. since 2001, contributing significantly across various divisions, including corporate and consumer banking.
His extensive experience in the banking sector, including leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC Bank, positions him well to continue driving IDLC’s strategic vision.
Noor holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Dhaka.
Mir Tariquzzaman, previously general manager and chief technology officer, has been with IDLC Finance PLC since 1995, joining as a management trainee. His leadership in establishing and managing IDLC’s dynamic IT infrastructure has been instrumental in the company’s technological advancements.
Tariquzzaman holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, previously general manager, has been a key leader at IDLC since joining in 2010.
With over 23 years of experience in the banking sector, Ahmed has led the corporate, consumer, and wealth management divisions at IDLC.
His previous experience includes senior roles at Dhaka Bank Limited and National Bank Limited.
He holds an MBA from the London University of Technology and Research and a Master of Commerce in Finance & Banking from the University of Dhaka.
