The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Wednesday deferred the date for holding charge framing hearing against Obaidul Haque, alias Taher and Ataur Rahman alias Noni till January 18.
Wednesday was fixed for holding the charge framing hearing, but the ICT-1 reset the date accepting a plea of Md Shahabuddin, new counsel for Noni.
Earlier on December 4, 2014, the prosecution submitted formal charge against these two alleged Razakar kingpins from Netrokona, bringing four charges of crimes against humanity. The tribunal on December 11 took the charges into cognizance. The tribunal on August 12, 2014, issued warrant to arrest the duo, and the police nabbed them on the same day.
