The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) opened its Chattogram Branch and organised an orientation programme for the 1st Batch of Chartered Secretary (CS) Course in Chattogram on Saturday, says a press release.
Md Delowar Hossain, Chairman of Chattogram Regional Chapter Sub-Committee of ICSB, moderated the programme.
He praised the Council for its vigorous initiative in establishing long-cherished Chattogram Branch and also thanked Members of Chattogram Regional Chapter Sub-Committee for their relentless effort.
In the opening remarks, Md Zakir Hossain, Secretary & Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, welcomed the newly admitted students of Chattogram and mentioned it as a historic day for ICSB.
AKM Mushfiqur Rahman, Vice President, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Treasurer, Salim Ahmed, Council Member, Oli Kamal, Council Member, Md Sharif Hasan, Council Member, Mohammed Harun-Ar-Rashid, Council Member, Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat, Council Member, and Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, Council Member, and Md Abul Kalam Azad, Member, CRC, were present at the programme.
Mohammad Asad Ullah, President of ICSB, said, “Establishment of the ICSB Chattogram Branch is a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering corporate governance excellence across Bangladesh.”
He also highlighted the opportunity at ICSB and CS Profession. This new branch will serve as a vital resource for both current professionals and students.
Finally, he officially opened the new branch and inaugurated the 1st Batch of Chattogram, which is 54th Batch of CS Course.
