The mayor of Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) Dr. Shahadat Hossain wants to stand by seven million people as a city servant, not a city father. He said this in response to the reception at Chattagram railway station on Tuesday. He said, Chattagram is not my only city, this city has seven million people. Let’s build a beautiful city together.
This city will be green city, clean city, and healthy city. Give me some time i will follow it, i want your prayers and love. Addressing the party leaders, he said that you could not stay at home for the last 18 years, there was no one to look after your family. There was no one to look after your children. Your family didn’t have money to shop. You spent the day half-starved. I have seen this helplessness. I will not be able to repay your debt. There have been murders, disappearances, extrajudicial killings across the country.
People have been victimized in numerous cases. 60 lakh leaders and activists have been accused in 1 lakh cases in Bangladesh including Chattagram. He thanked BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarek Rahman. On Tuesday (October 5) around 12:30 PM, the mayor reached Chattagaram railway station by Sonar Bangla train that left Dhaka. Before that, leaders and activists of various wards gathered with a procession from morning. They had flowers in their hands and joy on their faces.
