I don’t feel like I did anything wrong or unfair: Iman

Indian singer Eman Chakraborty is in the news for a different reason this time.

At the invitation of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, she went to the Nabanna assembly hall and sang a song about the development record of the Trinamool government in the last 15 years.

Iman performed this ‘Unnoyoner Panchali’ in her melodious voice in the presence of the Chief Minister, and after the video went public, there was a lot of sarcasm and criticism.

Hearing a song directly for development of a political party in voice of such an artiste, various comments started flying in various circles, starting from social media. Many have also called her a ‘sold out’ artiste.
