TV drama actress Rukaiya Jahan Chamak got married at the end of last month. She got married in a madrasa with businessman Azman Nasir with a dowry of Tk 9. This small screen heroine is in the centre of discussion since the news of her marriage.
Soon after the wedding, the news spread that Azman married two more before Chamak. This time the husband of Chamak himself admitted about multiple marriages.
Azman Nasir said in a video message that after the divorces with his previous wives, he had a relationship with Chamak. In a video message of 3 minutes and 23 seconds, Azman Nasir said, “I met Chamak long after the divorce. Surprised Chamak didn’t even want to know about my past. She loved me, and I loved her. We married according to Islamic law.”
Azman commented that he did not commit a crime by marrying. He said, “I married Chamak after two divorces – was it my fault? Now people are engaging in extramarital affairs. I didn’t do it. I got married. However, the way you (the media) have reported, I don’t think we will be able to live happily and peacefully for a long time. As you say, there will be no family for 9 days, is that what you want? Is this the solution?”
Azman also said that he could not stand in front of Chamak after the news of the previous two marriages. He said, “I never wanted to bring up my ugly past in front of Chamak. I have always wanted to keep away Chamak from my past. But because of your news, my past is coming in front of her again and again. I could not stand in front of Chamak after such news.”
When contacted to talk about this issue, Chamak’s phone was switched off. However, while sharing the video message of Azman Nasir on Chamak’s Facebook page, and she wrote, “I am sorry, Azman Nasir.”
It is known that Azman Nasir first married Samantha Islam in 2008. In 2011, a daughter was born to light up their house. But that family broke up in 2016.
Then Azman married Lamia Farhin in 2018. That family did not last long. Finally, he married TV actress Rukaiya Jahan Chamek last month.
