This event is a beacon of hope for the local poor and underprivileged people. The treatment was provided by Dr. Jaka Kaif, a medicine specialist at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, and Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, an assistant professor at the Cardiology Department of Joypurhat 250 General Hospital.
The organizers said that this program has been taken to ensure access to medical services for the poor and neglected people of the area. More than a hundred people of different ages, including men, women and children, have sought healthcare services. Along with education, such programs will be carried out regularly, giving importance to social service.
Hafizur Rahman, president of Rupali Sangha and Library, said, “It is our responsibility to stand by the people. We want to continue working for the helpless in the society in the future as well.”
General Secretary Engineer Shahjalal Hossain (Russell) added, “Our organization will be successful only if we can provide at least a little assistance where people are deprived of medical treatment.”
