On Tuesday (January 7), Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board, Professor Md. Abul Bashar informed the media that the HSC exams are set to begin in the last week of June. A draft schedule is currently being prepared and is expected to be submitted for ministry approval by the third week of this month.
According to sources from the Dhaka Education Board, form fill-up for the HSC and equivalent exams will begin on March 2. Colleges must publish the results of the HSC preliminary exams by February 27 before the form fill-up process commences.
The 2024 HSC and equivalent exams began on June 30 last year. However, they were suspended midway due to protests. Although the government, after stepping down on August 5, decided to resume the remaining exams on September 11, students demanded that the exams not be held. In response, final results were published on October 15 based on subject mapping, taking into account SSC and equivalent exam scores.
