HRC Group Chairman Saeed Hossain Chowdhury is no more. He drew his last breath at 11:10 am on Tuesday while receiving treatment at a hospital in the capital (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un). Saeed Hossain Chowdhury was the son of noted educationist, language movement veteran, social worker, and founder chairman of the Karnaphuli Group, Hedayet Hossain Chowdhury. He contributed immensely to the nation’s tea sector.
