Housewife killed in Ishwardi fire

13 houses and 14 goats were burnt in six families in the fiery fire in Ishwardi. A housewife was killed in the fire. The deceased housewife is Ziarul Kazi’s wife Agella Begum (40). The fire broke out at around 11:30 am in the village of Asna in Sara Union. The Ishwardi Fire Service personnel tried for about one hours and brought the fire under control.
Eyewitnesses said the fire started from the village Rahman Kazi’s kitchen. The fire quickly spread to the surrounding houses. Ziarul Kazi, Rahman Kazi, Maqbool Kazi, Mahabul Kazi and Jaheda Begum were burnt to ashes. Ziarul Kazi said his wife died on the spot when he entered the house to save him, thinking that he had children in the house.
Locals said the fire started from the kitchen of Rahman Kazi from the kitchen of Kazi. In addition to the settlements and goats in the fire, all furniture including cash, TV, fridge and all furniture were burnt. Although the amount of damage is not determined at this point, Tk 30 lakh is likely to be damaged. Fire service inspector Mir Amirul Islam said the fire was brought under control for about an hour after receiving the news. In addition to 13 houses in the fire, 14 goats were burnt. A housewife died tragic after being burned. It is initially believed that the fire broke out of the electrical shortschit.
However, the amount of damage has not yet been determined.
Ishwardi Upazila Executive Officer Subir Kumar Das said that we had visited the scene with the project implementation officer. Action has been taken from the Upazila administration for the burial of the deceased housewife. Rice-wheat and blankets have been arranged from the Union Council. The amount of damage will be determined and cooperated later.
