With the theme “Technology-Dependent Youth Power, Progress Through Multilateral Partnership”, the Hossainpur Upazila Administration and the Youth Development Department celebrated National and International Youth Day 2025 on Tuesday through various programmes.
The day began with a colourful procession from the Upazila Parishad premises, which paraded the main roads of Hossainpur town before concluding at the Upazila Parishad auditorium for a discussion meeting. The event was conducted and presided over by Upazila Youth Development Officer Md Mofazzal Haque.
Upazila Executive Officer Kazi Nahid Eva attended as the chief guest. Among others, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Farid Al Sohan, Upazila Agricultural Officer Shajahan Kabir, Upazila Livestock Officer Ujjal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Hossainpur Police Station Maruf Hossain, and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Abul Kalam Azad spoke on the occasion.
At the closing session, youth loan cheques totalling Tk 3.14 million were handed over to 31 young men and women. Officials from various departments, public representatives, journalists, and trained youths were present.
