Muhammad Rashedul Islam has joined as the new Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hosenpur Police Station in Kishoreganj.
He formally took over charge on Monday morning from OC (Investigation) Limon Bose. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as the Officer-in-Charge of Mirzapur Police Station in Tangail district.
It is learnt that the police officer was born in Sarishabari Upazila of Jamalpur district and joined the Bangladesh Police in 2010. With more than two decades of professional experience, he has served in various police stations and units across the country.
After assuming office, OC Muhammad Rashedul Islam said he would make every effort to keep Hosenpur free from drugs, terrorism, extortion, and online gambling. He also stressed the need for public cooperation to build a safe and peaceful society, seeking support from local residents.
