A conservancy worker of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) was killed when an unidentified vehicle hit him in front of Rajdhani Super Market on Monday night.
The deceased was Md Jamal, 45, his son Sujon confirmed, reports UNB.
Sujon said the incident happened around 10 pm when the unidentified vehicle hit his father from behind on his way home from work, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where physicians declared him dead upon arrival at 11 pm, he said.
