However, those who make a living by taking help from people are the ones who stand by the side of helpless flood victims in this difficult time and set a shining example of humanity. Disciples of the late Sundari Hijra of Sylhet stands by the flood victims with relief packets. The third gender members of the beautiful transgender family are distributing relief goods worth 3 lakh rupees among the flood victims of Noakhali. On Friday night, he packed a relief package of 3 lakh rupees from Sylhet and left for Noakhali by truck. They reached there on Saturday.
At this time, eager crowd gathered to see them. However, many have welcomed and praised their initiative. Later on Saturday afternoon some water distributed relief items among the prisoners and spent the night there. The distribution of their relief goods was completed the next day on Sunday. In two days, about three hundred family members stood by their side.
Each of their relief packets contained rice, potatoes, salt, oil, pulses, onions, two bars of soap, napa (paracetamol), food saline and spices.
The distribution of relief goods was organized under the leadership of late Sundari Hijra’s big disciple Babli Hijra, Kali Hijra, Lipi Hijra, Radha Hijra, Rani Hijra. Later Kali Hijra, Lipi Hijra, Radha Hijra, Rani Hijra and other Hijra members reached Noakhali with relief in a truck and a Nohagari.
