A Hifz graduation and recognition ceremony was held on Monday at the historic Amatur Rahman Girls’ Hifz Madrasa, located adjacent to Ta’mirul Millat Kamil Madrasa in Mirhajirbagh, Dhaka. The event was presided over by Maulana Sabbir Ahmad, Director of the Hifz madrasa and Mutawalli of Ta’mirul Millat Kamil Madrasa.
As the chief guest, Maulana Abdus Samad, Assistant Professor of the Arabic Department at Ta’mirul Millat Kamil Madrasa, delivered an inspiring address. Among the distinguished guests in attendance were senior teacher Maulana Abdul Wazed Patwari, Assistant Professor of English Abdus Samad Azad, Maulana Fasihur Rahman, social workers Kazi Ruhul Amin and Kazi Saiful Islam Milon, Maksudul Alam, prominent businessman Nazim Uddin, and Abdul Hasib, among others.
Quoting the prophetic saying that “the best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it,” the chief guest remarked that individuals who dedicate themselves to learning and preserving the words of Allah occupy a highly honorable position in society and hold the promise of immense success in the Hereafter. He prayed for the newly graduated Hifz students and encouraged them to continue practicing and upholding the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
During the ceremony, graduates who successfully completed their Hifz were honored with certificates and crests presented by the invited guests.
The program concluded with a heartfelt dua (supplication) led by Maulana Abdul Wazed Patwari, marking the formal end of the auspicious event.
