Heidelberg Materials Bangladesh PLC held its 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 16, 2025, through a hybrid platform.
Director Md Emdadul Haque, FCA, chaired the meeting. Managing Director Ong Kian Hock Terence and Company Secretary Md Saikat Khan was present at the event, while other members of the Board of Directors joined virtually, says a press release.
At the Annual General Meeting (AGM), shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, and the year ended December 31, 2024. The Board also declared a 25% cash dividend for each share of Tk10 face value.
The AGM highlighted the company’s continued focus on sustainable growth, operational efficiency and shareholder value. The Board expressed appreciation for the support of shareholders and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards of corporate governance and transparency.
