The eve booters will go through a hectic schedule because the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has plans to arrange international and domestic events in the new year.
Apart from SAFF and AFC Cups this year, there will also be competitive women’s leagues, national championships and various age-based events in domestic football.
The New Year has come and it has opened the door to new possibilities for women footballers.
In the last few years, women’s football has progressed faster than men’s football as Sabina, Tahura, Maria and co. have made the whole nation proud by taking part in various age-based events in the international stage.
The women’s booters were out of international matches before the coronavirus hit the country.Bangladesh played their last international match in Nepal backed in 2019.
So in order to bring back the ranking of the team, the BFF has plans to host International matches in FIFA windows in February.
Besides, there will be a hectic schedule round the year in women’s football.
According to the programme, the age-based SAFF and AFC tournaments will be held in August-September. These tournaments will give the women’s footballers a chance to get back on track.
The Bangamata SAFF U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup (2021) will be held in July while SAFF U-16 Women’s Championship (2021) is scheduled to be held in August.
There will be various events in domestic football as well in the New Year.
According to the national wide women’s football programme, the women’s football league, UNICEF U-12 (2020) and women’s national championship will be held in March.
Besides, JFA U-14 Women’s National Championship will be held in April while UNICEF U-12 Women’s National Championship (2021) is slated in November.
