A mild to moderate heatwave is currently affecting several districts in Bangladesh, including Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rangamati, Feni, Laxmipur, Jashore, and Chuadanga.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has warned that the heatwave is expected to continue, according to its latest weather bulletin issued on Friday.
Meanwhile, the weather across the country is likely to remain dry, with a temporary partly cloudy sky. No significant rainfall has been forecast.
Both day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country, added the bulletin.
