At least 35 students of Hossainpur Primary School, Hossionpur Upazila in Kishoreganj fell ill due to heat on Thursday.
In this incident, the teachers called the parents and sent the students home. Besides, one sick student has been admitted to Hossainpur government hospital. At the same time, holidays were declared in primary school.
The Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in Hossionpur, Anindya Mandal and Upazila Education Officer (UEO) Nurul Islam and other dignified officials visited the spot after receiving the news.
It is known that some first class students suddenly started feeling sick during the summer. Later going to other classes the same picture is seen. These sick students are given first aid in the school office room.
In this regard, Headmaster Rebecca Sultana said that, some students of a class fell ill in the summer. A student has been admitted to the health complex. Later going to other classes the same situation is seen. A few parents took their children. Later we give leave to the institution.
