Health awareness seminar held

Feni District Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Rubaiyat Bin Karim participated in a health awareness seminar at Feni District Jail on Wednesday.

At this time, a special camp was organized by the District Health Department for the children of government officials and prisoners aged 9 months to 15 years old, in which 44 children were given typhoid vaccine.

In addition, a special camp was organised for the health check-up of forty prisoners of the prison.

Present at the time were Jail Superintendent Md. Abdul Jalil, Prison Medical Officer Dr. Ehsan Uz Zaman Khan.

Dr. Istaab Rakin, WHO Divisional Coordinator EPI Dr. Imong Pru Chowdhury, WHO Surveillance Officer Dr. Mostafa Mahtab Towaha, Civil Surgeon Office Medical Officer Dr. Md. Imam Hossain, District EPI Superintendent Kajal Kanti Pal.

In the seminar, the Civil Surgeon delivered a speech aimed at increasing health awareness among the jail inmates.
