The High Court Division of the Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the authorities concerned to submit a list of Rohingyas who have been registered as voters in Bangladesh so far.
A High Court bench consisting of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Kazi Zinat Haque passed the order hearing a writ petition filed in this regard on Tuesday.
The Election Commission, Local Government Secretary, Cox’s Bazar’s Deputy Commissioner and other concerned officials were asked to submit the list by August 8.
