Adviser to the BNP Chairperson and former member of parliament Zahir Uddin Swapan said that Sheikh Hasina fled the country due to lack of social values.
Zahir Uddin Swapan said this during exchanging views with the local Christian community at Gaurnadi Catholic Mission in Gournadi upazila under Barishal district on Sunday.
He said religious values and social power are the greatest power. Sheikh Hasina had to flee the country due to lack of social values and capsizing in boundless corruption by her cohorts.
The social sense that survives among us is not because of the fear of the police, not because of the fear of the law. It works our conscience, Swapan told.
