The police recovered a hanging body of a rickshaw driver from a house in East Goran area of Khilgaon in the capital.
The deceased Juel Rana (35), resident of Bahorkhola of Meghna Upazila in Comilla lived in a house of East Goran area.
The body was recovered at around 10 am on Monday and sent it to Dhaka Medical College the Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Abdul Aziz, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Khilgaon Police Station confirmed the matter to the media.
The SI said being informed the police we went to the spot and recovered the hanging body.
It is initially seemed that the victim committed suicide.
The exact cause of the death will be known after receiving the post-mortem report.
