Police have recovered the hanging body of a housewife in Gafargaon of Mymensingh.
The incident took place behind her house at Charmachaland Kurtalipara village in Charalgi union of the upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rekha Akhter, 45, wife of Abdul Mannan of the village.
According to family sources, Rekha Akhter has been suffering from mental illness for the last few months. When the relatives informed the police, the police came and rescued the body.
