The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced on Wednesday the 26-member Bangladesh preliminary football squad for the upcoming Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup qualifiers match against Singapore Football team on June 10. Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Javier Cabrera announced the squad on behalf of BFF. The match will be held at the National Stadium. The gala game will start at 7:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Besides, Bangladesh Football team will play a FIFA International friendly match against Bhutan Football team at the same venue on June 4. The match will kick-off at 7:00pm. The BFF has included Hamza Choudhury, Shamit Shome and Fahamedul Islam in the 26-member Bangladesh preliminary football squad. Bangladesh, India, Singapore and Hong Kong are in Group-C of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Sumon Reza has been called up in the squad, while Chandon Roy has been dropped in the squad.
Hamza Choudhury, who have played English Premier League made his debut against India Football team in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in Shillong of India on March 25. The match ended in a goalless draw. Hamza Choudhury will arrive in the city on May 2.
Expatriate of Italy Fahamedul Islam arrived in the city on Wednesday. Fahamedul Islam did not get chance to play against India in their AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Fahamedul Islam has played in the Serie D of Italy.
Expatriate of Canada Shamit Shome will arrive in the city on June 4. So, he could not take part in the match against Bhutan. Shamit Shome has played in the Canadian Premier League.

(Midfielder), Fahamedul Islam, Foysal Ahmed Fahim, Rakib Hossain, Sahariar Emon, Mohammad Ibrahim, Al Amin and Sumon Reza (Forward).
