England-born Bangladeshi Hamza Choudhury arrived at the Hazarat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Monday. Hamza Choudhury reached the capital from London, the capital city of England. Hamza Choudhury has played in the English Premier League.

Earlier, Hamza Choudhury made his debut for Bangladesh Football team playing against India Football team in their first match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup qualifiers at Shillong of India on March 25. Bangladesh played a goalless draw with India in their away match of the qualifiers.

But Hamza Choudhury has not yet played for Bangladesh at his home ground. If everything goes well, Hamza Choudhury will play for Bangladesh against Bhutan Football team in a FIFA International friendly match at the National Stadium on June 4. The defensive midfielder will also take part in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers match for Bangladesh against Singapore Football team which is scheduled to be held at the National Stadium on June 10.

It may be mentioned that Fahamedul Islam, who has played in the Serie D of Italy reached the city on May 31.

Shamit Shome, who has played in the Canadian Premier League is scheduled to arrive in the capital on June 4. In that case, the Canada-born Bangladeshi could not play in the FIFA International friendly match against Bhutan.

Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Javier Cabrera said, ” I am interested to give chance to Hamza Choudhury in the FIFA International friendly match against Bhutan before the match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers match against Singapore Football team.”

After reaching the capital, Hamza Choudhury and some officials of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) went to the Team hotel. When they were going to Team hotel by riding on a car, some journalists asked Hamza Choudhury about the probable results against Bhutan and Singapore. Hamza Chowdhury said, “Yup very good chance.”
A journalist asked him, will Bangladesh can win next two matches?
Hamza said, ” Inshallah, Inshallah.”
Later, Hamza Choudhury took rest at the Team hotel.
Then, Hamza Choudhury took part in the practice session of Bangladesh Football squad at the National Stadium under supervision of Head Coach Javier Cabrera on Monday.
