Hajj flights from Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport are going to start on May 14. The first flight will depart from Ctg Airport for Madinah. Out of 22 flights, only 2 flights will land at Madina Airport and the rest at Jeddah airport, sources said.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines Chittagong district manager Shahadat Hossain said that the first flight of Bangladesh Biman Boeing 717 will take off from Shah Amanat International Airport at 3:50 am on May 14. 419 passengers will go to Medina on the first flight.
Before this, this year’s Hajj flight is starting from Dhaka on May 9. This year 83 thousand 202 people will perform Hajj under government and private management. Out of this, 4 thousand 307 people will go to government management and 78 thousand 895 people will go to private management. Hajj may be celebrated on June 16 subject to moon sighting.
