Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s ancestral home in Bareilly was attacked with gunfire early Friday morning. Miscreants arrived on motorcycles and fired two rounds in front of her house before fleeing. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. At the time, Disha’s family members-her sister Khushboo Patani (a former army officer), father Jagdish Patani (a retired DSP), and mother Padma Patani-were at home. Disha herself was in Mumbai. The incident has since caused a stir. Police have confirmed that a complaint has been filed and the investigation is progressing rapidly.
