Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) has organized a Club Fair of Fall Semester 2015 to encourage the newly admitted students in co-curricular activities. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir inaugurated the Club Fair at the university campus at 10:00AM while renowned Film Actor Mr. Masud Parvez (Sohel Rana) was present as Special Guest. The clubs like Business Club, Marketing Club, Debating Club, FTDM Club, Textile Club, EEE Club, Law Club, Cultural Club, Sports Club, Social Bonding Club, English Club, Green Warrior Club, Reading Society, Photography Club, Theater Club, Blood Club and Computer Club etc help students gain practical experience with their subjects of study or interests. In total, there are seventeen clubs in Green University. Each club works and mobilizes students for different aspects.
University Treasurer and Director of the Student Affairs, Mr. Md. Shahid Ullah along with Assistant Directors Dr. Afzal Hossain Khan and Mr. Abdul Malek acted as key persons to organize the club fair. Presence of the Registrar Lt Col Md. Ali Ambial Haque Khan (Retd), Controller of Examinations Prof. SMK Nazmul Haque, chairpersons of different departments, faculty members, officials and a large number of students made the occasion an event of joy and happiness.
