Grand finale of ‘The Voice of JKKNIU’ held at Nazrul University

The grand finale of “The Voice of JKKNIU” the largest public speaking competition in the Mymensingh division was held in a festive environment, organized for the second time by the Career Club of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University.
The event took place on Saturday (29 November), crowned Ashka Alam, a student of the Department of Philosophy at JKKNIU, as the champion speaker.
Additionally, Abdullah Al Mukit, a student of Bangladesh Agricultural University, secured the First Runner-up position, while Tabassum Mehnaz of the Department of Public Administration & Governance Studies at JKKNIU earned the Second Runner-up position.
A total of 14 participants competed in the grand finale. Competitors came from a range of institutions, including Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Ananda Mohan College, and the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), among others.
The winners received cash prizes totaling 15,000 BDT, crests, certificates, and gift items worth 30,000 BDT.
Serving as judges in the final round were Abdullah Al Rahat, Senior Territory Sales Manager at Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) PLC, and Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Rabbi, Senior Territory Manager of the Customer Business Development function at Unilever Bangladesh Limited. The event was graced by the presence of the Career Club’s advisor and Chairman of the Department of Management, Mohammad Tarikul Islam Jony.
Career Club President Abul Absar Bappi said, “The Voice of JKKNIU is a platform for young people to build confidence, develop public speaking skills, and discover their inner potential. We are delighted to successfully host this event for the second time. We aim to organize it on a larger and more creative scale in the future.”
