Grameenphone (GP) Limited experienced a drop in profit by 17.68% during the July-September quarter of 2023 compared to the previous year in the same quarter.
Grameenphone approved its quarterly financial statement and decided to publish it for the shareholders at a meeting held on Monday.
During the third quarter, its net profit was Tk747 crore, which was Tk907 crore a year ago, according to its financial statement.
But its revenue increased 6% to Tk4,109 crore during the third quarter compared to the previous year at the same time.
At the end of the first three quarters of this year, its profit stood at Tk2,720 crore and earnings per share Tk20.15.
