The government has relaxed the process of getting passports.
“To improve the quality of security services, the provision of obtaining a police report for issuing a passport has been relaxed,” said Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed in his budget speech, reports BSS.
He has announced a TK 7,90,000 crore national budget for the fiscal year 2025-26. Salehuddin also said that Bangladesh has introduced e-passport in 59 missions abroad and initiatives have been taken to introduce e-passport, e-visa and e-travel permit in all missions of Bangladesh.
