After a two-year long break, popular face of the small screen, Faria Shahrin, has returned to the series ‘Bachelor Point’.
She said that she had not worked for the last two years. Her only goal was to do good work.
Faria said, “I didn’t want to do thousands of jobs, I just waited for ‘Bachelor Point’. Everyone used to ask me why I wasn’t working. Now I can say that I am back.”
Faria has been playing the role of Antora since the season 3 of ‘Bachelor Point’. The character has become so popular that many people mistakenly think of her as ‘Rokeya’.
She said during the shooting in Noakhali, people would climb trees to watch the shooting.
Regarding Antora’s special character trait, she said, “Most girls cheat, but even though she is evil at heart, Antora loves Shuvo. There is a little fight between them in that episode. Then Antora herself tells Shuvo that she wants to marry him. If Antora was really a fool, she wouldn’t want to marry him.”
However, Faria expressed her pain at being stuck in the same role over and over again because of being such a popular character, saying, “Out of my 10 scripts, 9 involve playing the two number characters.”
Faria said that the shooting of the new lot of ‘Bachelor Point’ will start after Eid.
She expressed hope that viewers will see their beloved Antora again.
