Election for chairman post of Feni’s Fulgazi upazila will be held on September 21.
Feni district Returning Officer Muhammad Enamul Haque disclosed this while talking to the reporters on Friday.
“We have already got the instruction from the Election Commission (EC) for holding the election,” he added.
Deputy secretary of the EC Shahjahan Khan issued the instruction on August 13 regarding the election schedule.
Fulgazi upazila chairman and Awami League leader Ekramul Haque was shot first and then burned alive in his car in broad daylight in the town on May 20.
