A day-long free medical camp was organised at the Shah Sufi Muzammil Ali Madrasa ground in Kalaruka, Chhatak Upazila, under the initiative of industrialist Abul Hossain, BBC celebrity chef and CEO of “Abul Spice” in UK Wales, with the support of the Tafida Rakib Foundation. Five doctors from the UK and Europe provided treatment at the camp.
A large number of patients from the surrounding areas attended the camp from Saturday morning. They received free treatment and medicines. Medical advice was provided for various specialties, including general medicine, ophthalmology, gynaecology, obstetrics, and neurology.
The patients expressed great satisfaction with the services provided. Local residents were particularly pleased to receive free treatment and medicines from foreign doctors, and they conveyed their appreciation.
