A major fraud using the name of popular Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar has been reported in Mumbai.
A lawyer lost over five lakh rupees after being lured by a fake online trading platform.
Lawyer Shabnam Muhammad Hussain Sayed (45) has filed a complaint with Mumbai’s Worli police station.
According to the police, in June this year, she saw an advertisement on social media for a so-called international trading platform.
The advertisement featured Neha Kakkar as the brand ambassador and promoted the platform as a reliable investment medium.
