The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is deeply saddened at the passing of former cricketer and sports organiser Ainul Islam Tiash. A pace bowler during his playing days, Tiash had represented prominent club sides Azad Boys, Lalmatia and Kalabagan in Dhaka First Division Cricket League. He had served as a member of the BCB’s Ticket & Seating Committee and was a former coordinator of the Dhaka Premier Division League of the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM). Ainul Islam Tiash breathed his last in Dhaka on Sunday. He was 57. The BCB extends condolences and sympathies to his family.
